Branding + Website Redesign for an Established Business

Communications is at the core of corporate development these days.

It touches every person in every department from the top to the bottom.

My client, Judy, is a corporate communications trainer. She’s been in business for more than 20 years. And in light of recent corporate shifts, her training is more in demand than ever before.

Despite demand, Judy was facing two big problems.

  1. An outdated website and brand that doesn’t reflect she's "keeping up" with the times.

  2. A toxic client accounting for at least 80% of her yearly revenue.

Elevating First Impressions

I elevated Judy's brand with a fresh color palette and modern design.

Then I gave her website a design and layout overhaul. I wanted to showcase right up front how Judy serves her clients. So I created a menu that reflected what she offers, and then created a landing page for each service.

The goal for Judy's website is to serve as an informational resource for referrals. Her goal for the site is to have potential clients contact her after learning about her services.

Judy also hired me to bring her training materials on brand as well.

Setting the Standards

After her website build, I started consulting with Judy. Her goals were:

  • Charge a fair market value for her services.

  • Tap into her network to identify new potential clients.

  • Refine her sales process with new clients.

  • Start evaluating the cost of opportunity as new clients hired her.

Together, we've achieved:

  • Transitioning Judy's yearly revenue from one toxic client to 8+ fantastic ones.

  • Grown annual revenue by at least 30% each year.

  • Refined her sales process to save her time and effort.

  • Gained clarity around her best clients.

  • Created new tools & resources to boost her training's relevance in today's corporate environment.

The best part? Judy's business now operates on her terms.

  • Delivering training no more than a 2-hour drive away.

  • Charging for customization of her training programs.

  • Training no more than 2-3 days each week.

  • Taking vacation days.

Judy's making more money today than ever before in her business, and that includes the investment she's making to work with Blue Elephant Creative.
