Refund & Cancellation Policy
At Blue Elephant Creative, we believe in transparency, fairness, and clear communication. This refund policy is designed to protect both you and my business, ensuring that expectations are set before work begins.
Refund Eligibility
100% Refund — If you cancel your project at least 2 weeks before the agreed-upon start date, you will receive a full refund of any payments made.
50% Refund — If you cancel within 2 weeks of the start date but before the project begins, you will receive a 50% refund.
No Refunds — Once the project has begun (on or after the agreed start date), no refunds will be issued.
Deposits & Payments
Full or 1/3 payment is required to reserve your project start date.
Deposits and payments made are applied toward the total project fee.
Refunds, if applicable, will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of cancellation approval.
Project Start Date Definition
The project start date is the date agreed upon for your kickoff call on the project OR when you return the initial questionnaire for Basecamp packages. Work may include discovery sessions, onboarding, and project planning. Once the project has officially begun, it is considered “in progress,” and no refunds will be issued.
Rescheduling vs. Cancellation
If you need to reschedule your project start date, please contact us as soon as possible. Rescheduling may be possible without penalty if requested at least 2 weeks in advance.
If you cancel instead of rescheduling, the refund policy above will apply.
Exceptions
Refunds may not be provided in the following situations:
Failure to provide required materials (such as content, images, or approvals) in a timely manner.
Termination due to a breach of contract, non-payment, or misuse of deliverables.
Digital products, downloads, or templates purchased separately.
